Lake Gogebic State Park covers 360 acres and nearly a mile of lake frontage on the west shore of the largest inland lake in the Upper Peninsula. About 30 campsites are located directly on the lake front and the rest are nestled among the trees, not more than 100 yards from the lake.
Activities:
Fishing: The angler will find excellent fishing for perch, walleye, smallmouth bass and northern pike. The local area chamber of commerce hosts fishing tournaments annually on Lake Gogebic.
Hiking: Two mile scenic nature trail that loops back to the campgrounds.
Paddling
Swimming: Large, sandy beach available for swimming and sunbathing.
