Stone Lake Beach offers opportunities for swimming, sand sculptures and family fun. The recreational beach is staffed with lifeguards from Memorial Day weekend through the La Porte schools summer break. The beach house, renovated in 1999, includes concessions, restrooms and rinse stations. The playground was updated in 2018 with two new play structures funded by the La Porte Park Foundation.
